DAY ONE - Arrival Mexico City
You come to see the sights of this modern world capital and discover the heart
and soul of the ancient Aztec Empire. In order to preserve and protect the city’s
rich colonial atmosphere, the Centro Historico has received a UNESCO
designation as a World Heritage Site. Your host hotel is located within the very
heart of this zone. Practicalities walk: Zocalo, Diego Rivera murals, Cathedral,
Aztec ruins. Conclude with a visit to La Ideal, the “Disney” of cake decorating.
DAY 2 – Guadalupe/Teotihuacan/
Full-day touring includes the Plaza of Three Cultures, Shrine of Guadalupe, and the mammoth Teotihuacan Pyramids. Today’s near
the pyramids includes a visit to an orphanage (please bring basic school supplies), maguey demonstration,
and a fascinating tortilla competition. Try your hand (literally) on the traditional comal.
DAY 3 – Chapultepec/Guanajuato
Drive through Chapultepec Park and explore the Museum of Anthropology. Continue on your scenic drive to Guanajuato.
Once Mexico's most important silver producer, today Guanajuato is known as a city of hills, tunnels, winding cobblestone streets and lanes,
university students, music, art, culture, festivals, and the birthplace of muralist Diego Rivera.
Guanajuato exudes a certain Mexican character that is charming, colorful, and magical. It's the closest you'll get to a Mexican medieval and
Spanish city. Indeed, you'll often feel you are walking the streets of Spain. Your evening walking tour includes the famous Callejon del Beso.

DAY FOUR - Mummies, Mines, & Museums
Today's excursion allows you to experience the opulence of the 17th century. Witness the wealth of the silver barons on your walk through the
Ex-hacienda San Gabriel de Barrera Museum. Thrill to the panoramic views on your drive to the still-active Valenciana silver mines, founded in 1559.
Finally, explore Guanajuato’s top tourist destination, the famous mummies museum. You'll have time for
with your Guided Adventures or experiencing the Jardin de la Union with its outdoor cafes, handicraft vendors, and strolling musicians.
DAY FIVE - Guadalajara
Horse-drawn carriages share broad avenues with the latest model cars. Surprisingly, the air is country fresh, acres of parks and flowering gardens invite
you to explore the quaint charms and imposing colonial buildings of Mexico’s second largest city. Motorcoach tour: principal residential districts, Plaza
Tapatia including the Government
Palace and Degollado Theater. Conclude with shopping time in the upscale artisan village of Tlaquepaque.
DAY SIX - Puerto Vallarta
Travel via the new tollroad to Puerto Vallarta, Colonial charm, cobblestone
streets, fine beaches, palm-lined seaside promenade and lush tropical cliffs that
seem to tumble right to the sea. Relax by the crystal waters of your pool or
relish the feeling and sound of the beach.
DAY SEVEN - ¡Viva Vallarta!
Enjoy your hotel pool, stroll the beaches, bargain for souvenirs, or arrange your favorite water sports.
DAY EIGHT - Puerto Vallarta Departure
